November is just around the corner and that means the Austin tradition is, too: ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot at Waterloo Park. Please mark your calendars for Thursday, November 26th Thanksgiving Day! Come out to race or sign up to volunteer to support a great event and a great cause.
To volunteer, please contact me with your name, cell phone number, email and t-shirt size so I can include you in the official volunteer spreadsheet! The hours are from 6:30 a.m. 1:00 p.m. A few of the opportunities include: race-day setup registration chip distribution and pickup water stops kids k parking directional markers cleanup crew
We just ask that on the day of the race, you remain flexible and do the work that is most needed, even if it is not where you were originally assigned. As runners, you know that its all important on race day!
Mark your calendars and spread the word to runners, walkers and this year for the first time if people will be out of town or want to sleep in, they can still support the race and Caritas by registering to not run and just buy a t shirt at www.thundercloud.com.
To volunteer for this special race, contact Molly Sipe at msipe@caritasofaustin.org. or by phone at (512) 479.4610, ext. 121 with the information requested as soon as possible! Dont be left out of this Austin tradition! Happy Thanksgiving and hope to hear from you soon!
